Step 1: Register for HCMS and Gateway Agent Portal

Step 2: Submit Contracts with Carriers (Requires E&O Insurance)

Mutual of Omaha and AIG are  submitted via Sure LC - select the link above to make an account and submit your requests to each carrier  individually. 

Americo and American Amicable contracting is submitted separately via Next Level Contracting (NLC).

Log into the Gateway Agent Portal, hover over the 9 dots in the top right corner, select the NLC logo up top and complete the steps required to submit contracting

Step 3:  Complete New Agent Training Week and New Agent Boot Camp


Step 4: Follow up with Carriers and add Agent Writing Codes to HCMS Profile

Call Americo, John Hancock, Mutual of Omaha, and AIG within 3 business days of submitting your contracting through SureLC to check on the status of appointment/agent writing number. 

The Carrier can look up your Agent profile by your Social Security Number. Below is a Carrier Contact List.


Once you've received your Agent Code with a Carrier add it to your HCMS profile as a MISSING Carrier.

How to add a Missing Carrier:
Log into HCMS: Go to add requests- Add carrier- Missing carrier/writing number - Select the carrier you have an agent code with and add your agent code!


Step 5: Connect with your Manager/Upline to Purchase Leads, Begin Dialing and Protecting Families!
